Ruthless Gods (Something Dark & Holy #2) by Emily A. Duncan

This book was something else. I don’t even know what to summarize because my brain is still processing everything that happened.

Betrayal, romance, and secrets explode in Ruthless Gods. Nadya, Serefin and Malachiasz are constantly reunited and torn apart throughout this installment. And I lived for every moment Malachiasz and Nadya were together. Another ship I never saw coming got together and I LOVE THEM, plus there’s a possibility of a F/F ship between some secondary characters and like YES PLEASE.

We learn a lot about what the gods are throughout this story. Honestly, a lot of it went over my head and I’m waiting for the characters to like lay it out for me straight. Cause I need the blunt and condensed version. There was a lot of alluding going on in this book, which was really thrilling and suspenseful, but I am now ready for answers please?

This series is pretty dark and like damn if I wasn’t enjoying the hell out of it. I am so excited to see what’s going to happen to all my baby characters. The ending was basically me SCREAMING for like 100 pages or so. But I’m totally fine (I’m not).

Also is it just me or did the narrators pronounce Malachiasz differently in this book than in Wicked Saints? Am I insane, maybe both??
