May 2019 Wrap Up

May was such a busy month and I’m still playing catch up after a week of June! I moved apartments the last week of May and have been starting a lot of new projects at work which is why I haven’t posted much here! But I am back, slightly, and I have two posts for you this week!

Let’s get to the goods! In May, I read 37 books! Of these, 12 were rereads. Most of these books were audiobooks, because my actual reading time is almost non-existent. I did manage to read about six physical/ebooks in May! I say mostly six since I did listen to a couple hours of the Once & Future audiobook and didn’t finish my last book.

Some of the audiobooks I read in May!

Physical/Ebooks: Hunting Prince Dracula, Once & Future, Aurora Rising, A Thousand Perfect Notes, Nice Try Jane Sinner, Escaping from Houdini and close to half of The Accidental Book Club. (I just realized I didn’t publish my Aurora Rising review on my blog! Eek, that will be up soon too!)

I bought the special edition Aurora Rising box from Bookish Signs & More. It was absolutely stunning!

Out of all the books I devoured in May, my favorites were: Kingsbane, Again but Better, Aurora Rising, Once & Future and A Thousand Perfect Notes. I didn’t pick any of my rereads because that feels like cheating! I’m not going to list all the audiobooks I read or my reviews for them, but if you’re interested come check out my Goodreads!

Jay Kristoff was so cool and it was so much fun getting to talk to him!

The best thing that happened to me in May was getting to meet Jay Kristoff at Anderson’s Bookshop! Jay was touring throughout the US for the release of Aurora Rising. I didn’t get to meet Amie as her baby was due that week. It was such a lovely event, I meet several fellow bookstagrammers and talked to Jay twice! Veronica Roth was the moderator and I got her to sign all of my Divergent books, so that was a score. They are both very tall and it was super shocking when I first saw them.

That’s all for this month! Until the end of June lovelies, read some good books!
